Y’all Here For This? Visa Releases Debit Card Featuring Harriet Tubman Doing ‘Wakanda Forever’

Black History Month just got a little more interesting with the release of the new Harriet Tubman debit card design.

Harriet Tubman has been at the center of a lot of money talk lately. The first moment had to do with her depiction on the $20 bill that was met with mixed reviews. This time, it’s all about the OneUnited Bank visa debit card featuring the Black History Icon doing the Wakanda salute.

Social media has responded in its usual way with a wave of jokes, and memes. I actually love the design and am glad that OneUnited, a black-owned bank from Boston decided to release it.

What do you think about the new design? Would you use it?
